Discovering keys to abundance
A few years ago, at a lecture in London, I spoke of the Eternal Pool and its crucial role in our lives. We all belong to one humanity that lives within Nature, nourished by this Pool. It flows through each one of us, providing all our necessities of life including sustenance, knowledge, happiness, love, abundance, and more. When we receive with one hand and give with the other, we remain a part of the flow of this blessed Pool, keeping us happy and fulfilled, regardless of the challenges we may face. When we receive with one hand but close the other, we cut ourselves from its flow, leaving us barren and unfulfilled. When in life, nothing works out, regardless of how hard we try, a good question to ask may be, “Are both my hands open? Am I connected to the Eternal Pool?” If the answer is ‘no’, then it is time to change and open ourselves once again to its blessed flow. Over the years, I continue to hear from many participants and readers about how this lesson has helped them restore happiness and abundance in their lives.
The Eternal Pool is the underlying basis for the concept of charity and giving, that is taught and practiced by all faiths and schools of higher thought. This Pool is referred to and understood by different names and terminologies, but its concept is constant and universal. When we give, we are not doing anyone any favours. We are simply keeping ourselves connected to the flow of the Eternal Pool. Giving need not be restricted to sharing one’s money or material resources. It can be something as simple as giving someone a smile that lights up their spirits, or offering one’s time, knowledge and skills towards the benefit of others...
This particular lecture program was hosted at a hotel that belonged to a dear friend, who not only generously donated the use of his venue, but also served dinner to the approximately 200 attendees at no charge. As I walked out with him after the event, we paused at the hotel entrance to be greeted by a line-up of coaches filled with passengers from an airline, whose flights had been cancelled that evening. The hotel had a low occupancy at the time and these cancellations caused every room to be taken up, yielding revenues that far surpassed the event cost. We both smiled as we witnessed the miracle of the Eternal Pool at work…
Have a blessed week ahead my dear friends, graced with happiness, peace and abundance…
